JOLI

JOLI, the restaurant of the Carnavalet Museum – History of Paris, welcomes you to a unique setting at the heart of the historic Marais district. Located within the museum, this restaurant features a gourmet menu that revisits classic French dishes. This year marks the opening of two new indoor dining rooms nestled in the Cour des Drapiers, whose décor has been inspired by Henri Gervex’s paintings housed in the museum. The soul of a Parisian bistro and the inspiration of a chef-driven table, set in the magical surroundings of the museum.

THE MENU

For chef Issac Roméra, creating a menu for a restaurant in the heart of Paris is an opportunity to revisit the Parisian bistro classics that he loves so much. He always adds a personal touch that reflects the time he’s spent in Paris, Tokyo and Mexico City, offering up sweet and sour combinations as well as slightly tangy salty notes.

For diners with a sweet tooth, Paloma Laguette takes great pleasure in reinterpreting French pastries. She puts a fresh new spin on the country’s iconic chocolate mousse, enhancing it with red miso and caramelised puffed rice.

The experience continues at the bar with a selection of cocktails and mocktails with a botanical twist that have been devised by Clément Brousset.
