The Musée Carnavalet – Histoire de Paris is committed to working with teachers and activity leaders to make visiting the museum a privileged opportunity for learning and sharing.

As part of this, the Musée Carnavalet – Histoire de Paris offers training, get-togethers and resources to support you in constructing educational projects.

GROUP VISITS

Group booking (valid for a full class with two accompanying adults) is required.

FREE ACCESS VISIT

For a more comfortable visit, booking is required for groups of seven or more, accompanying adults included.

You are completely free to create an original itinerary that includes the works of your choice based on your project.

Guides, artists and storytellers invite you to discover the museum actively. We offer many activities with our intermediaries: visits, workshops, itineraries, storytelling and walks.

ENCOUNTERS WITH THE MUSÉE CARNAVALET FOR TEACHERS 

On its reopening, the Musée Carnavalet – Histoire de Paris offers primary and secondary level teachers from the three Île-de-France academies the chance to create independent visit plans for classes in conjunction with the Visitor Department.

 

Organisation:

After discovering the museum collections for the period in question, there will be a brainstorming workshop. The aim is to create educational visit scenarios appropriate for the classes of the teachers who attend.  This collaborative work should allow pupils to take on board the knowledge transmitted by the teacher during the museum visit.

Due to health restrictions, numbers will be limited to 15 participants per session.
